Colin Andrew Mochrie was born November 30th, 1957 in Kilmarnock, Scotland. He moved around Canada frequently as a child and became a Canadian citizen in 1977. After splitting his pants onstage in high school, Colin wanted to be a comedian. He auditioned for the improv theatre The Second City, and was hired by Deb McGrath, who he married in 1989. They have one son, Luke, born in 1990. Colin first appeared on Whose Line in 1991 after auditioning twice. While he has done some American work - such as Drew Carey's Green Screen, The Drew Carey show, and I Love the 90's - most of Colin's work is Canadian, ranging from independant films like "Jane White is Sick and Twisted" and "Expecting" to voicework - Seven Little Monsters, A Very Barry Christmas, George and Martha - and a primetime show he both writes and stars in with his wife, Getting Along Famously. Colin is left-handed.

Ryan Lee Stiles was born on April 22, 1959 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He was a good student in school, but he says "being a high school senior gave me too much freedom." He got a job doing stand-up comedy in Vancouver after leaving school a few months short of graduation. In 1986, he joined the Second City, a Canadian comedy theatre. In 1989, he married Pat McDonald, with whom he has had three children: Mackenzie, Sam, and Claire. In 1990, he moved to Los Angeles to perform with the Los Angeles Second City group. He has been a regular on both versions of Whose Line Is It Anyway? for as long as the show has been airing. He has also been, and still is, on the popular ABC show "The Drew Carey Show".

Wayne Brady was born June 2, 1972 in Orlando, Florida, USA. He attended Dr. Phillips High School and wanted to join the military. He, like Colin, did well in a school play and never looked back. From then on he was in many central Florida productions including Jesus Christ Superstar, A Chorus Line, Fences, and more. He moved to Las Vegas and then to Los Angeles in 1996 where he began his career in theatre and television, including roles in several TV shows. On April 3, 1999, he married Mandie Taketa, with whom he has one child, a daughter named Maile Masako Brady, born February 3, 2003. Wayne has his own talk show.

Drew Allison Carey was born May 23rd, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. His father died when Drew was eight.  Drew was in the Marines and has his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, and an honorary PHD from Cleveland State University. He has also written a book of memoirs/short stories called Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined. In addition to his newest show, Drew Carey's Green Screen, Drew starred in the movie "Geppetto" and has made appearances on many shows including "Best Damn Sports Show Period", "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", "Dharma and Greg", and "Crank Yankers." Drew is left-handed.

  Brad Sherwood

Bradley R. Sherwood was born November 24th, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Wright State University and is engaged to a woman named Shawna. Brad has appeared in the movie "That Darn Cat" and many TV shows, including VH1's music awards, The Drew Carey Show, and L.A. Law. Brad is left-handed.


 

  Greg Proops

Gregory Everett Proops was born October 3, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He came to WLiiA in 1989. He married his wife Jennifer in 1991. Some of his credits include, besides Whose Line, Brother Bear, Star Wars: Episode 1-The Phantom Menace and the Nightmare Before Christmas. Greg is exactly 6', a fan of the San Francisco Giants, and has a pet ocelot named Shakira.


 

  Chip Esten

Charles Esten was born September 9th, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the college of William and Mary, where he met his wife, Patty. They have two daughters, Taylor and Addie, and a son, Chase. Chip has appeared on TV shows including "Party of Five", "Diagnosis Murder", "Cheers", and "Star Trek: Voyager".
